Our client a growing IT company is seeking to recruit a Finance & Administration officer to be based at their Nairobi office.
Job Summary
- To ensure smooth running of finance and administration function in the office
Finance & Admin Officer Job Duties and responsibilities
- Preparing payroll and personnel administration.
- Maintaining cash records.
- Preparing financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements.
- Liaising with suppliers and negotiating on behalf of the company.
- Process supplier invoices and ensuring payments are done on time.
- Invoicing
- Ensure that all statutory deductions and requirements are met.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Assist with preparation of the budget.
- Maintain cash controls.
- Book keeping
- Maintaining computerized accounting system.
Qualifications
- CPA 1 0r 2, from a recognized Institution
- Diploma in Business Administration.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated leadership ability.
Skills Required.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards.
- Open to direction and Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
- Ability to challenge and debate issues of importance to the organization.
- Ability to look at situations from several points of view.
Working conditions
This position will sometimes require work outside the office environment.
Criminal Record Check is required.
Salary Kshs 30,000.00
