Managing Director (Oil & Gas Industry) Job - 2015

Job Description

Our client, an international upcoming company in Kenya in the Oil & Gas industry is looking for a dynamic Managing Director. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a vision and strategic plan to guide the organisation forward.Key Responsibilities:

• Putting in place adequate operational and financial controls.


• Foster effective team work within the organisation at all levels.


• Identify and asses internal and external risks.


• Represent the company to major customers and professional associations.


• Oversee the planning, implementations and evaluation of services and projects.


• Ensure that the operations meet the expectations of the clients and stakeholders.


• Oversee efficient and effective day to day operations of the business.


• Prepare budgets and administer funds according to the approved budget.


• Ensure compliance with all legislation covering tax.


• Ensure that accounting procedures and processes are followed.


• Recruit, coach and mentor staff.


• Oversee and manage HSSE.

 

Qualifications / Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Masters in business administration will be an added advantage.


• At least 5 – 10 years of work experience in a leadership position.


• Excellent knowledge of human resources and financial management.


• Strong planning and management skills.


• Impeccable leadership and project management skills.


• Computer literate.


• Must have proven HSSE experience.

Monthly Gross Salary: Ksh. 350,000 – 450,000/= (Approx. 3,888 – 5,000 USD) depending on experience
