A well established manufacturing company in Nairobi is looking for a Maintenance Manager.
The Job holder will be in charge of the entire Plant and Machinery maintenance and supervising technical staff.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Higher National Diploma or equivalent in an Engineering discipline from a reputable institution.
- At least 3 years in a managerial and technical role.
- Must be able to handle a broad range of complex technical and professional work activities.
- Accurate analytical thinking, result oriented and a good team player.
- Have good knowledge in electrical and digital circuits, electronic and PLC based systems.
- Able to perform standard repairs on printed circuit boards, interpret and understand drawings and diagrams for fault finding.
- Having worked in a plastic manufacturing factory will be an added advantage.
- Hindi and/or Gujarati speaking is an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing maintenance strategies, procedures and methods, project planning and execution.
- Drafting the maintenance budget.
- Operation and maintenance of automation systems, moulds for production, air systems and water storage systems.
- Drafting maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines.
- Ensure comprehensive compliance with the company’s occupation health and safety policy.
- Diagnosing breakdown problems for equipment failure and taking corrective measure.
- Ensure that all documentation and procedures are followed in line with ISO.
- Sourcing of spares from different suppliers/ distributors.
- Carrying out quality inspections on jobs.
- Directing, instructing and supervising maintenance technicians and fitters.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 150,000/= (Approx. 1,666 USD)depending on experience
