Our client, a leading Commodity Processing and Export Company with operations across East Africa is looking to fill the position of a Finance Manager.
The successful candidate MUST have experience working with SUN accounting system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for the company’s finance, accounting and treasury affairs.
- Will be working in Kenya and Tanzania to provide leadership to the accounting teams.
- Financial and tax planning and modeling.
- Maintaining the accounting system (SUN).
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Cash flow planning and management.
- Oversee payments to suppliers, employees and other business parties.
- Preparation of timely management accounts and financial reports.
- Preparation of annual financial statements and overseeing external audit process.
- Accurately maintain financial records to meet local legal and tax requirements.
- Act as the liaison between the Kenyan and Tanzanian companies.
- Finance team development.
- Contribute to the development and execution of the company´s growth strategy.
Qualifications:
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in Commerce and majoring in Accounting / Finance option.
- Must be CPA / ACCA.
- Experience working with an agricultural industry commodity trading and export business is a distinct advantage.
- Must have at least 5 -10 years of experience in financial management.
- Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in senior management.
- Preferably have International / East African regional management exposure.
- Strong financial management skills.
- Proven analytical skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
- Work successfully under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent people management and communication skills.
- Excellent IT skills and proficiency in all MS Office applications and accounting software.
- Strong & positive leadership skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh 200,000 – 250,000 (Approx. 2,222 – 2,777 USD)depending on experience& qualification
