Country Warehouse Manager
Location: Nairobi

Our client, a leading global travel retailer operating worldwide seeks to recruit a Warehouse Manager.
The ideal candidate will be in charge all aspects covering in-bound logistics, warehouse operations and transport to third party contracts.
Supporting the Inventory Control and Supply Chain process requirements
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
- Defining optimal replenishment frequency by shop
- Staff planning in order to cover special needs on delivery days and strong sales days
- Coordinate all inventory control processes through regular updates from subordinates and reviews of inventory reports
- Communicating inventory status and activities to Area Retail Manager and Shop Manager
- Initiating reorder procedures, as well as elimination of stock
- Monitoring the correct receiving of goods and inform logistic assistants in case of discrepancies
- Making sure that every item moved to the shops can be scanned at tills
- Monitoring transfer order process
- Controlling expiring date and ensure efficient stock rotation
- Organizing and maintaining warehouse in a efficient and proper way
- Communicating with local custom authorities and planning physical inventories
- Making sure damaged and defective goods are processed in a timely, accurate manner
- Assisting in protecting company assets through promoting awareness of loss prevention
- Supervision of Warehouse Team
- Ensure the understanding and adherence to standard policies and procedures of the Supply Chain Community
Qualifications and Competences
- Bachelor degree in Logistics and Procurement or Warehouse Operations or related field.
- A minimum of 7 years in Logistics / Warehouse Operations.
- Excellent knowledge of warehouse operations
- Be able to work under minimum supervision
- Well developed organizational skills.
