Position: Product & Process Engineer
Location: Kigali, Rwanda
The Product & Process Engineer reports directly to Engineering Manager.
Position Objective: Implement the continuous improvement methodology in all the process running in the Factory.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be the link with the Product department and the planner of the headquarter.
- Be the link with the Engineering department of the external supplier (ODM).
- Define the Bill Of Material (BOM).
- Develop the assembling process. Make the SOP (standard operating process).
- Lead the kickoff of new products.
- Inside the Factory, consolidate and distribute all the information about products to be produced.
- Develop the inspecting process for the outsourced inspector (for the pre shipment inspection).
- Work on the samples of products to be produced.
