CARANA seeks various short- and long-term Technical Specialists possessing expertise in the following areas: Environmental enterprise developmentSustainable tourismSustainable agricultural intensificationSustainable conservation financePayments for ecosystem servicesBiodiversity conservationSustainable forestryClimate change mitigation and adaptationManagement of ecosystem servicesQualifications:
Advanced degree in relevant field such as Natural Resource Management, Environmental Management, Forestry, etc.Minimum of 8 years of experience in one or more of the specific areas of expertise listed above.Well-versed in the market-led approach to natural resource management including a proven ability to stimulate economic activity through investment and other related private sector development activities.Previous experience working on international donor-funded development programs focused on biodiversity conversation, national resources management and/or climate change, preferably for USAID.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Fluency in English required and advanced language capabilities in at least one other language preferred.
