Context/Scope:
KBL as a Unit in EABL is mainly involved in production and sale of Alcoholic Beverages. The production of Non-Carbonated alcoholic beverages (Spirits) is done by UDVK.
UDVK comprises of a Modern Blending plant (incl. RTD’s), two Automatic packaging lines and a Semi-Automatic line. The plant currently manufactures’ and Packages a Total of 67 SKU’S for both local and the Regional Market. UDVK is also in charge of the packaging of Spirits at an external contracted packaging site. In addition, UDVK also handles ALL Imported spirits in the application of Revenue stamps prior to sale
Key to the UDVK operations is the commitment to the development and implementation of world-class systems and processes to enable the attainment of world-class best practices in all operations. This will ensure timely availability of over 1.9 Million Nine litre cases required to meet both the local and the Regional market demand.
Purpose of role:
To ensure that all the materials required for Spirits Operations are obtained from the main store and availed to the lines as per production plan. The main role is SAP transactions; reconcile the materials movements from the receipt, production process and transfer to the main warehouses as finished goods
He/she is responsible through Head of Spirits on the maintenance of production BOMs for all the products packaged on the site.

UDV is currently operating two packaging lines, blending operations and RTD plant. All plants present serious challenges of availability and efficiency and subsequently in meeting sales demand.
Top Accountabilities:
Obtain material usages on brand basis from the materials technicians for the purpose of spirits handover through the system to the WarehousesDaily Stock take and reconciliation of KRA stamps. Prepares monthly reports on the same for forwarding to KRA.Ensure compliance with safety requirements at the work environment.Track finished goods from production to warehouseEnsure proper approvals are given for any decant.Supply Support in Financial data updates on InitiativesAssist in Review of Manufacturing Cost Centre reports.SAP Manufacturing Excellence (Training and supporting users)Manufacturing CARM Champion – Effectiveness / Efficiency controlsReview of Plant Maintenance Costs (Weekly)Monitoring of material usagesOrganize monthly stock take for both on/offsite in conjunction with other stakeholdersPrepare daily production vs. SAP reconciliation.Ensure process losses are posted after every runReconcile material usages with actual production.Monitor raw spirit purchases and ensure stocks are available for production.Qualification & Experience:
