Agro-Economist - Team Leader 

General Requirements:
With at least 10 years of experience, preferably in Africa, in the Agriculture sector. The expert should have relevant recent experience in programmes of amounts at least equivalent to 5 million Euro in the agricultural/rural development sector. The team leader should have knowledge of and experience with identification, formulation, management, implementation and/or evaluation of EU funded support in the sector.

Additional Requirements:
·         The expert must have degree or master degree relevant to the expertise.
·         The expert must be perfectly fluent in English.
·         At least one of the team members must have English as their mother tongue and must ensure the complete editing of the report to international standard.
·         At least one of the team members must have a recent and specific experience and knowledge of the most relevant stakeholders in the sector in Kenya, such as: Ministry of Agriculture Livestock and Fisheries, County governments, Lead private sector organisations (including in the agricultural finance sector), and other relevant stakeholders in Kenya.
