Our client which is a busy firm in Nairobi is seeking to fill the position a of Assistant Photographer to help achieve their organizational goals.

Requirements

Working with clients to discuss the images they require and how they want to use themMust be good in lightingMust be good in working with kidsGood experience in studio setting/studio lightsSeeking out appropriate photographic subjects and opportunitiesCarrying out research and preparation for a shootWorking in different locations and in different circumstances to get the right imageUsing an extensive range of technical equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting and specialist softwareCommunicating with photographic subjects, putting them at ease, encouraging them and directing themDegree/ Diploma in mass communication or relevant course from recognized institution6 months to 1 year experience in a similar environmentComputer literateKey competencies;Must be good and patient with kidsBe creative, with a good eye for a pictureHave excellent technical and photographic skillsHave good communication and people skillsHave good IT skills, especially with computer programs such as PhotoshopBe commercially aware and good at marketing themselves.If you are the person we are looking kindly send your application letter and CV to  jobs@jantakenya.com clearly indicating ‘Assistant Photographer’ on the subject line by 15th August 2014. Do not attach any certificates
