The Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) is a company licensed by the Capital Markets Authority (CMA) to facilitate the trading of financial products through the provision of a trading platform for listed securities. In line with this mandate, the NSE is seeking to recruit qualified, dynamic, self- motivated and results- oriented individuals to fill the following position:1. Senior Officer, Information Technology Service DeliveryOverall Purpose: Responsible to the Manager, Information Technology for the presentation of high quality ICT services to all customers both internal and external that meet / exceed their expectations. Ensure the service levels are effective and adhered to by the support organizations and business partners.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the effective running of the ICT service desk while offering application support, desktop support and other ICT services.Responsible for ownership of all customer incidents or service requests logged.Carry out logging, tracking and progress chasing of incidents to conclusion and in line with SLAs and quality standards.Be involved in the design, transition, operation and continual service improvement of the various service offerings and the development of key IT service management capabilities and processes in the organisation.Determination of Service/ Operational Level Agreements (SLA/OLA’s) in relation to contracted services, ensuring SLA’s are achieved; Service quality and customer expectations are met or exceeded.Effectively monitor, control and support service delivery, ensuring systems, policies and procedures related to the ICT services are followed.Participate in customer/ supplier service review meetings covering performance, service improvements, quality assurance, and process improvements.Continuously measure, monitor and produce management/KPI reports to an agreed schedule or upon request.Develop creative strategies to drive down the incident levels including but not limited to improving the usability and reliability of the ICT service products.Identify training needs, design and facilitate suitable training programmes and workshops for the various customers.Proactively build and maintain good client relationships.Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology or related field.Very good knowledge of software, applications, and infrastructure used at the NSE.Excellent working knowledge of IT Service Management and ITIL.Minimum two (2) year relevant work experience2. Officer, International RelationsOverall Purpose: Under the guidance of the Head of Market and Product Development, the Officer will be responsible for managing the African Securities Exchanges Association Secretariat as well as handling the NSE regional and international obligations.Key Duties and Responsibilities1. The African Securities Exchanges Association (ASEA) SecretariatImplementing the ASEA strategy, initiatives and action plans aimed at advancing the mission and objectives of the Association;Implementing strategies for strengthening collaborative partnerships and networks with stakeholders, government agencies and other players to ensure implementation of programmes that enhance the performance of the African capital markets industry;Managing ASEA contractual obligations with partners and service providers;Managing the administrative functions and events of the Association;Management of the content on the ASEA website and social media on Facebook and Twitter;Development and circulation of the ASEA periodicals;Doing all other things, not inconsistent with the foregoing, as shall promote the objects and purpose of ASEA.2. The Nairobi Securities Exchange Regional and International ObligationsCoordinating the NSE contractual obligations arising from regional and international partnerships;With reference to (2.a.) providing content for the NSE website and social media on Facebook and Twitter.3. Any other duties as assigned.A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Business Administration or similar fields from a recognized institution. Possession of the CPS qualification will be an added advantage;Minimum two (2) years relevant experience;Excellent knowledge of English. Working knowledge of French and/or Arabic will be an added advantage;3. Officer, Human Resources & AdministrationOverall Purpose: Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources & Administration, the officer will perform human resources and administrative tasks in support of the human resource and administration functions.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesDealing with HR & Administration matters as directedAssisting with the development and implementation of human capital and administration plans and budgetsImplementing staff training activities as scheduledFollowing up on staff welfare issues, including medical and transportationAssisting in preparation for interviews and recruitment as directedAssisting with staff performance managementStaff leave managementFacilitation of staff and departmental meetings and taking minutesResponsible for departmental filing and record keepingFacilitating effective communication with other departments as well as external organisations and individualsChampioning initiatives aimed at enhancing staff morale and satisfactionOverseeing transport logistics and related monthly usage analysisCo-ordinating repairs and maintenance of offices and equipmentCoordinating the provision of office servicesPerform any other duties as may be assigned from time to timeBachelor’s degree in Business Administration/ Human Capital Management or any other relevant field.
