Vacancy: Member County Public Service Board1 Post

The selection panel for the appointment of chairperson and members of Kericho County Public Service Board wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified persons who wish to be considered for the position of member.

Duties and Responsibilities

A member is responsible to the chairperson of the Board. In addition to assisting him perform his duties as provided for in the County Government Act 2012 Chapter 58,other specific duties and responsibilities will be to:
i. Regularly attend and participate in board meetings and committee meetings where applicable;
ii. Read, review and make decisions on requests with regards to board’s minutes, annual reports, other reports, plans and policies presented before it;
iii. Promote values and principles spelt out in Articles 10 and 232 of the Constitution of Kenya and ;
iv. Perform any other duty as assigned from time to time.
ii. Be in possession of Bachelors degree from a university recognized
in Kenya(a Master’s degree or any other professional qualifications will be an added advantage);
iii. Have at least five years relevant professional experience, three of which should have been in leadership position in public or private sector(service in any service commission will be an added
advantage);
iv. Possess knowledge of the organization and functions of Central and County Government;
v. Demonstrate thorough understanding of the National goals, policies,and development objective including Kenya Vision 2030;
vi. Meet the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution on leadership and integrity.
 The salary and other benefi ts attached to this position is as determined by the Salaries and Remuneration Commission.
