DAI, a global development consulting firm based in the United States, seeks applications from senior-level experts for an anticipated five-year, water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) project in Kenya. 

The anticipated project is expected to increase access to improved water and sanitation, number of businesses delivering WASH products and services, number of WASH technologies and products introduced to the local market, number of communities certified as Open Defecation Free (ODF), private sector investment in WASH services, hygiene and nutrition-related behaviors, use of maternal and child health and nutrition services, management of water resources, and management and delivery of WASH services. Positions on the project are expected to be based in Nairobi, with significant travel throughout the country.

DAI is seeking candidates with technical expertise in the following areas:
WASH service deliveryWASH financingWater resourcesWater engineeringEnvironmental sustainabilityHygieneHealth / NutritionSanitationMonitoring and Evaluation of related programsManagement of related donor-funded grants programsAdvanced degree in water, sanitation, hygiene, water resources management, hydrogeology, engineering or other related fields;10+ years of experience in water supply, sanitation, hygiene or other work as it pertains to water services;Experience on a international donor-funded water and sanitation projects is strongly preferred;Excellent verbal and written communications skills;Fluency in English is required.Interested candidates should e-mail their CV to kenyaWASH@dai.com by November 1, 2013, indicating expertise in the subject line.
