Job Description




  • Providing strategic leadership to management

  • Implementing, reviewing and interpreting administrative
    policies, strategies, procedures and programme;

  • managing and supervising the general administration services;
    implementing public service reforms;

  • Management of Human Resource Records

  • Implementation of Human Resource Management Advisory
    Committee decisions;

  • Staff welfare.

  • Provide technical leadership

  • Responsible for overseeing completion and submission of
    quality technical deliverables and reports.

  • Advising on training Needs Assessment and training of staff
    at the Human Resource Management Advisory Committee

  • Participating in work planning, budgeting and performance
    management for oral health staff

  • Identifying gaps and challenges in the provision of oral
    health services in the county and offering technical advice to the county
    executive

  • Support succession planning, retention and talent management
    of staff

  • Participate in HR supervision of staff

  • Support development of the budget process

  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time,



Job Requirement





  • Be a Kenyan Citizen;

  • Have relevant working experience of not less than ten (10)
    years, three (3) years of which at of which must be in a management level
    or equivalent and relevant position in the public service

  • Be in possession of a Master’s degree in any of the following
    disciplines: Business Administration, Public Administration, or any other
    Social Science from a recognized institution, Degree in Business
    Administration, Public Administration, or any other Social Science

  • Have a Certificate in computer application skills from a
    recognized institution

  • Have demonstrated managerial, administrative and professional
    competence in work performance and results.

  • Have capacity to work under pressure to meet deadlines;

  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills;

  • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the National
    Values and principles of Governance and public service; and

  • Satisfy the requirement of chapter six of the constitution of
    Kenya

  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Membership to relevant professional bodies an added advantage.
