Our client is in the service industry. They seek to hire a vibrant Content writing and communications assistant to come up with content including captivating articles, to push the brand out in the market and engage their clients. S/He should be able to come up with captivating articles including content for social platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) to increase the organization’s online presence.

Responsibilities

• Generate high-quality articles on a wide range of topics, matching the tone and style to suit different target audiences.


• Create content for social media messaging, web-optimization and email marketing


• Create, develop and expand dynamic content on social media platforms, e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook


• Utilize SEO guidelines to drive web traffic and boost the reach of the different articles.


• Proofread and edit pieces before publication to ensure quality work is produced


• Community management of all social platforms including the website comments


• Market the company’s value proposition, services and career solutions through content creation


• Media engagement – both print and mainstream media


• Work alongside the digital communication team to engage clients online and push the brand forward


• Suitable Candidate:

This is an excellent role for you if you meet the criteria below:

• Bachelor’s Degree


• At least 2 years’ experience in content writing (A Must)


• Knowledge of SEO, storytelling and copywriting will be an added advantage


• Excellent writing and editing skills


• Creativity – Ability to come up with ideas that will reach and appeal to the target market;


• Strong communication and persuasion skills with excellent presentation skills


• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team


• Confident, with a positive attitude and works as part of a team and independently
