Human Resource Assistant at Institute of Advanced Technology Limited

The mission of the Institute of Advanced Technology is to provide world class teaching and research facilities in new and emerging fields of computer science. From our headquarters in Kings Cross we will begin by offering a new MSc program in Machine Learning – a taught course with an emphasis on practical applications of ML and bleeding-edge research, leading to a final semester thesis. A further MPhil course will focus on novel research. Our first cohort will begin in September 2018. An undergraduate degree in computer science is not necessarily a prerequisite for attending IAT courses. We are looking for highly motivated students with a quantitative or scientific background, including mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics and the social sciences, and we will teach a summer program to prepare non-CS graduates, as well as to fill any gaps. Please get in touch if you would like to find out more about studying with us. The Institute is also home to an advanced-level R&D lab (IATLab) and an IAT Accelerator. At IATLab all aspects of machine intelligence are studied including research into social, ethical and anthropological implications of its mass adoption. IAT Accelerator provides funding, office space and mentoring to startups with the most compelling applications of machine intelligence research. In 2018 we intend to open our second campus in Birmingham and we will also expand to offer postgraduate provision and research facilities in London.
