FGC Kenya Limited is a medium sized consulting and an accounting firm offering bookkeeping, tax, financial preperation advisory, auditing, strategy and other accounting related services to clients across Africa.


Monthly Gross Salary: KES. 40,000 – 45,000


Responsibilities


We are looking for an accountant who will take home a gross monthly salary of between KES. 40,000 to KES. 45,000 and deliver on the following roles and responsibilities:



  • Preparation of IFRS compliant monthly and annual financial statements;

  • Bookkeeping by maintaining accurate financial records, verifying them and posting to QuickBooks;

  • Performing monthly bank reconciliations for the various clients as assigned;

  • Timely preparation and filing of tax and other statutory returns for the various clients;

  • Preparing wage sheets and making Bulk M-pesa payments; and

  • Any other assignments as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or the Partners.


The successful candidate must have the following qualifications:



  • Must be excellent at using Quickbooks;

  • Must be a CPA/ACCA finalist. ICPAK membership will be an added advantage;

  • Must have more than 2 years working experience in an accounting role;

  • Must have a degree in a business related field;

  • Must be proficient with Ms Word, Ms. Excel and Ms. Powerpoint; and

  • Must have willingness to work long hours.
