Packhouse Technician Vacancy

Twiga Foods Limited is looking for suitably qualified individuals to fill the role of a Packhouse Technician. The role holder will be responsible for the maintenance of all electrical systems on the Taveta farms.

Key Responsibilities

• For the smooth operation of all Packhouse equipment. For all the grading and soring lines for each crop to be top operational condition.


• Providing a preventative maintenance schedule with maximum operational time for the Packhouse supervisors to grade and pack the produce with minimal disruption.


• Working closely with the Engineering department in terms of electrical equipment maintenance.


• Working closely with the equipment manufacturers to ensure smooth grading and packing operations.


• Maintaining a high standard of Health and Safety for everyone in the operational environment of the workshop.

Minimum Qualifications And Experience

• A diploma in Agricultural Engineering


• A minimum of 5 years experience with agricultural packhouse maintenance


• A self-motivated individual with good attention to detail


• Can thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment
