Summary


The ideal candidate is a highly analytical character with ability to process information on enrollment, progression and retention of students for learner support, policy and strategy

formulation.


Duties and Responsibilities



  • Reporting to the Registrar Academic, the position holder will be responsible for the following, amongst others:

  • Support the process of admission and registration of students.

  • Analyse and generate informative information from students’ data for decision making.

  • Prepare reports on student population, cohort progression and completion trends.

  • Analyse students’ class attendance and take remedial intervention conclusively.

  • Analyse and report local, national and global trends that impact the University and the industry.

  • Timely identification and resolution of customer complaints.

  • Generate quality and accurate data from University processes.

  • Prepare external reports to statutory and regulatory bodies.

  • Ensure safety and integrity of students’ records.

  • Sensitize students on academic policy and students’ code of conduct.


Qualification & Experience



  • A Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university; a Bachelor degree in Education is desirable.

  • Minimum of C+ in K.C.S.E. or its equivalent.

  • At least two years’ experience in a similar role.

  • Excellent Analytical skills and proficiency in data processing and visualization.

  • Highly organized with extreme attention to detail.

  • Good presentation and communication skills.

  • Ability to go an extra mile, multitask and work with minimal supervision.
