Sheer Logic Management Consultants is seeking to engage a dynamic and experienced individual for the position of Tax Accountant
Responsibilities
- Value added Tax Auto Assessments
- Prepare various returns, i.e. VAT, WHT, Excise, WH VAT and WH on rent; with detailed supporting schedules and documentation
- File returns
- Statutory audit of Kenya entities.
- Tax Reconciliation
- Ensure compliance of various compliance trackers. e.g. ICOFR, ONESOURCE tax compliance system.
- Analyze Tax accounts, by the 20th of every month to ensure all invalid items are cleared in a timely manner.
- Provide all tax requests from various departments. Any other duties as may be assigned by the manager
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (Accounting or Finance Option)
- Certified Public Accountant (Kenya) or equivalent
Personal Skills & Qualities
- Good analytical skills
- Conversant with Kenyan Tax Laws
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines without compromising on quality of work
- Good interpersonal skills
