About Job
Our client is a 63 room hotel based in Kakamega, Kenya. They are looking to hire a general manager to start as soon as possible.
Responsiblities
- Responsible to the day to day running of the facility
- Set and meet daily/monthly targets
- Motivate staff to meet the set targets
- Must keep the facility in clean and good condition
- Should be able to bring in new businesses.
Qualifications
- Mature person of age range of 35-55 years and preferably married
- Diploma as the minimum qualification
- Working experience of at least 5 years in a similar capacity
- Must be ready to grow with us
- Proven experience in a managerial role
- Strong decision-making capabilities
- Above-average communication, collaboration, and delegation skills
- Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
- Ability to motivate and lead people, and hold employees accountable
