JOB TITLE: LUBRICANTS TERRITORY MANAGER-MOMBASA


Job Details:


The Lubricants Territory manager is responsible for growing business, driving sales (volumes & margins) performance, recruitment and management of new & existing customers in assigned region.


Responsibilities



  • Territory management: Handles Lubricants and Specialties sales in assigned territory.

  • Identifies and negotiates with potential distributors and commercial customers

  • Monitors and reviews the performance of distributors, commercial and industrial customers in relation to the agreed terms and conditions.

  • Responsible for maintaining customers’ accounts and clean TAR

  • Coordinates sales promotions for lubricants and specialties in assigned territory.

  • Prepares sales reports and sales projections.

  • Responsible for product merchandising at resellers and retail premises

  • Establish the customer training needs and ensure they are carried out

  • Carry out market surveys and monitor competition activities.

  • Raises and records any complaints/feedback in the customer complaints and feedback form and follow up on action to be taken

  • Any other assignment by the superiors


Qualifications



  • First Degree in Commerce, Economics, Engineering, or other related Professional qualifications.

  • Good Knowledge of Specialties, Lubricants and other Petroleum products

  • Selling and negotiation skills

  • Management skills

  • Computer literacy

  • At least three (3) years’ experience in technical sales and marketing


ENVIRONMENT:



  • Ability to work under pressure for long periods.

  • Ability to travel locally and internationally from time to time.
