Responsibilities
This is the entry and training grade for this cadre. An officer at this level will work under the guidance of a senior officer. Duties and responsibilities will entail: – Carrying out practical demonstrations relating to livestock production, Collecting and collating livestock data and information, extension activities, participating in field days and agricultural shows to disseminate livestock production technologies and information and participating in collaborative research activities
Qualification
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:
- Certificate in any of the following disciplines: – Animal Health and Production, Dairy Technology, Animal Science, Apiculture or Range Management from a recognized institution
- Certificate in Computer applications from a recognized institution
Additional Requirements
All applicants are expected to attach copies of the following additional documents
- Tax compliance certificates
- Clearance from HELB where necessary
- Clearance from the Ethics and anti- corruption commission
- Clearance from the CRB.
- Certificate of Good Conduct from the police
