Reporting to the Team Leader, the Independent Sales Agent will be responsible for recruitment and activation of new customers to the M-Tiba service within the assigned Sales locations in Nairobi.
M-Tiba is a service targeted at the low-mid income urban Kenyan who may not have access to alternative Medical Insurance services and yet requires them for outpatient and other medical needs.
The position is on contract terms for a renewable period of 3 months. This challenging opportunity to contribute to the growth of M-Tiba service will involve the following:
Duties for the Independent Sales Agent Job
- Deliver on the set Sales targets in recruitment and activation of M-Tiba customers
- Conduct self-initiated product campaigns to ensure product information is easily accessed by potential customers.
- Conduct door-to-door direct selling
- Conduct office-to-office selling
- Provide regular Sales reports.
- Provide excellent customer service
Independent Sales Agent Job Qualifications
For the above position, the successful applicants should have:
- Must have a minimum Mean grade of C- in K.C.S.E
- Prior experience in sales or Insurance selling may be an added advantage though not necessary.
- Above 24 years and Nairobi-based.
- Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills.
- Team player
- Hungry for individual success
- A passion and commitment to independent ways of sales delivery
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to meet stringent targets within defined deadlines.
- Certificate of Good Conduct.
