Our client, an international lighting manufacturer is seeking to recruit a Sales Executive

Duties and Responsibilities


  • Generating leads and growing sales and market footprint in East Africa

  • Develop strategic partnerships that will drive business and manage the ongoing relationship with the business partners

  • Contacting potential customers and building relationships with electrical engineers, contractors and architects

  • Monitor customer accounts within the allocated sales area to ensure that sales potential is fully exploited. While reporting on competitors and their activities in the market

  • Receiving customer complaints and redirecting product defects and service related concerns to the production department

  • Provide leadership, motivate and drive sales through distribution, end-user and contractor channels

  • Building long term relationships with new and existing customers

  • Distributing product catalogues brochures and leaflets

  • Conducting marketing activities in the region

  • Following through on sales orders and delivery of products

  • Demonstrate the company products with authority


Qualification and Experience


  • Bachelor degree in Sales and Marketing

  • A proven ability to drive sales and generate new business

  • Five years sales experience in the lighting project market is essential

  • Confident, well spoken, ambitious and driven
