Accounts Assistant Job Responsibilities


  • Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.

  • Verifies financial reports.

  • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.

  • Prepare invoices for customers, Post cheques in the system.

  • Reconcile accounting data, report discrepancies and problems.

  • Make payments to the suppliers in the system.

  • Enter details of new suppliers in the system.

  • Filling invoices of Customers, suppliers and order parts.

  • Handle petty cash, post it to the system.

  • Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.

  • Match invoices to parts orders.

  • Reviews, balances, and interprets computer reports, and makes corrections.

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications for the Accounts Assistant


  • 3-5 years’ experience

  • Accounting academic qualifications.
