Accounts Assistant Job Responsibilities
- Maintains accounting records by making copies; filing documents.
- Verifies financial reports.
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
- Prepare invoices for customers, Post cheques in the system.
- Reconcile accounting data, report discrepancies and problems.
- Make payments to the suppliers in the system.
- Enter details of new suppliers in the system.
- Filling invoices of Customers, suppliers and order parts.
- Handle petty cash, post it to the system.
- Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
- Match invoices to parts orders.
- Reviews, balances, and interprets computer reports, and makes corrections.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications for the Accounts Assistant
- 3-5 years’ experience
- Accounting academic qualifications.
