Plaster Technician Job Responsibilities
- Handling fractures and dislocations;
- Applying casts and springs to patients following an accident or surgery for particular orthopedic conditions;
- Assessing patient’s needs;
- Verifying and maintaining information relating to orthopedic patients.
- Order and maintain records of supplies
- Diagnosis of orthopaedic and trauma conditions
- Application and removal of casts and tractions
- Manipulation of bones
- Wound management
- Basic suturing of cuts
Qualifications for the Plaster Technician Job
- Be a Kenyan citizen.
- KCSE certificate.
- Certificate in Orthopedic Technician from recognized medical training institution.
