Job Vacancy: Marketing Executive
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Overall Purpose of the Job: The Brand Manager will manage relevant company brands (Processed white meat and day old chicks), the budget and is responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager in the development and execution of marketing plans and campaigns to achieve the brand’s short and long-term business objectives.
Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and Coordinating with Pc Sales Manager and DOC Sales Manager
Key Result Areas (KRA’s):
- Brand building
- Market growth
- Product education to customers/staff/traders and other partners
- Budget management
Key responsibilities include:
- Development of marketing strategy
- Prepare, plan and project management to deliver timely and relevant marketing campaigns.
- Execution of marketing plans
- Liaise with marketing & communications manager for media support
- Liaise with the sales team to deliver execution on-ground in line with brand guideline
- Trade support
- Relationship management
- Monitoring and Evaluation of budget as per annual brand plan and recommending areas of improvement,
- Understand the business
- Identify and activate annual special events as well as important ad hoc events
- Support company CSR activities
- Support the PC & DOC Sales Manager in day to days marketing activities
Experience Background Needed
- A Degree in Marketing
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position
