Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) is a State Corporation whose responsibility is to manage and conserve wildlife in Kenya.
The Service seeks to recruit a dynamic, innovative and experienced individual to fill the following position at its Headquarters:
Senior Prosecutor

Reporting to the Head Investigations, the overall responsibility will be to ensure successful and efficient prosecution of all cases under the Wildlife Conservation and Management Act, 2013.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prosecution of cases under the Wildlife Conservation and Management Act, 2013
- Co-ordination and management of prosecution activities.
- Liaising with other law enforcement agencies and the Judiciary with respect to wildlife crime cases
- Preparing and drafting necessary court documents including amended charges and submissions
- Ensure that suspects are prosecuted on the right charges before the appropriate Court
- Ensure training and gazettment of KWS Prosecutors
- Prepare work plans, budgets and relevant prosecution reports
- Performing any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized institution
- Post graduate Diploma in Law
- Advocate of the High Court.
- Must be a member of a recognized professional body
- Three (3) years relevant working experience
- Possession of valid Certificate of Good Conduct obtained from the CID
