Our client a leading Coffee, Tea & Flower farm group of companies in Kenya is currently seeking to recruit a qualified Kenyan Citizen for the position of a Farm Accountant.
Roles & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties & responsibilities;
- Responsible for financial and management accounting
- Ensuring prompt payment to and from suppliers
- Stock reconciliation for farm produce
- Managing payroll, statutory deductions, and tax returns
- Responsible for calculating cost pricing of work in progress stock items
- Assist management in budgeting, cash flow forecasts and financial reporting
- Analyze and report on project and product costing
- Create production of daily and periodic cost statements
- Maintain general ledger
- Develop accounting and financial management systems and reports
- Analyze and interpret monthly operating or project performance against budget
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be CPA K Graduate
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Land economics / Agribusiness or related field preferred
- 5 Years’ experience in Agricultural Projects
- Mature at least 40 years of age
Salary: Kshs 100,000 (Gross)
