Duma Works is recruiting a Sales Manager for one of our clients; an innovative new mineral water company based in Nairobi with a focus on delivering quality water direct to the customers: households and corporates.
We are looking for a dynamic and energetic individual who is qualified and experienced to join the enthusiastic sales department to help continue this growing company.
Overall Responsibility
- To create and develop an extensive strategy, achieve and exceed the given sales targets, further building a strong sales team, and creating a sustainable customer base with high customer retention.
- Recruiting & Building an effective sales force
- Incentivize & Manage the Sales team to achieve their sales targets
- Ensuring that Daily/Weekly/Monthly sales reporting is accurate and delivered
- Ensuring adequate and effective sales materials for sales team
- Achieving set sales targets through long term planning, and creative campaigns
- Building and Retaining household & corporate customers, as well as distributors
- Planning and coordination of weekly promotions/events
- Coordination with Production and Customer Service to ensure customer demand is met
Other Requirements
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales Management, ideally within the Water Industry
- Must be self-driven, dynamic, highly motivated, and Sales and Marketing oriented
- Very good team building and leadership skills
- Results orientated
- Customer orientated mindset
- Good presentation skills
- Excellent in Microsoft Office, as well as Data Analytics
- Ability to design, create and structure the necessary sales materials
- Good information management skills for reporting consolidated sales and performance results of the sales team
- Be able to think out of box
- Possess excellent written and spoken English and Swahili
