Our client, one of the leading
Producers of Natural Sweeteners, is looking for a hands-on and driven Finance & Operations Manager for
their offices in Nakuru.
The successful candidate
will provide finance, administration and logistic support to all Kenya
team functions.
Experience in the agriculture / Key Responsibilities;
horticulture sector is an added advantage.
- Developing accurate financial plans and
projections for the company operations in Kenya. - Implementation of company financial strategy.
- Preparing annual multi-currency budgets, cash
flow forecasts with full analysis of business performance vs budgeted
forecast. - Working closely with local and international
management teams on strategic, commercial and business development issues. - Monitoring and analysing financial reports and
records, communicating them at group level, in compliance with local, UK
GAAP and IFRS. - Develop strong relations with relevant
business partners such as banks, government officials, insurance, auditors
and other key suppliers. - Provide an HR function for the company in line
with group policy and local legislation. - Through the HR function provide all staff with
the relevant training requirement - Deliver an efficient and transparent
procurement department. - Fleet maintenance and tracking.
- Facilitate central collection, quality
control, bailing and warehousing of the product. - Export and shipment of bailed product through
to China. - Facilitate importation of fresh plant
material.
- BSc Accounting & Finance.
- Must be CPA / ACCA certified.
- Must have at least 10 years of management
experience. - Experience in the agriculture or horticulture
sector. - Driven and ambitious.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Practical and hands-on.
- High integrity.
- Excellent communication skills.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 400,000 – 500,000/= (Approx. 4,000 – 5,000
USD) depending on experience
