Assistant Marketing Manager Job in Kenya




Our client is one of Kenya’s largest stationery manufacturer who have since their incorporation introduced a variety of products to suit consumers of all forms. 



They are well known for high quality, cost efficiency and excellent customer care.
 



They are looking to recruit a competent and dynamic Assistant Marketing Manager to implement and manage their marketing and promotional strategies across Kenya.
 



Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute marketing plans and programs, both short and long term, in coordination with Product Managers / Sales Managers to ensure profit growth and market penetration.

  • Drive marketing events, whether directly or indirectly, by rallying team effort and ensuring availability of promotional materials.

  • Develop quarterly marketing budgets based on the business plan and ensure effective roll out.

  • Liaise with merchandisers across the country to ensure high visibility and availability for our products.

  • Monitor competitor activity and quality of service in the market place and provide management with a report on the same

  • Conduct on-going market analysis to identify immediate and future business growth opportunities and put in place effective plans for their achievement.

  • Participate in new product development in accordance to market needs.

  • Work with the creative team to develop content for advertising on different medium.

  • Prepare and circulate marketing communication materials including price quotations, special offers, customer presentations, trade presentations and product brochures.

  • Review and develop promotional content for the website and other acceptable social media platforms.


Candidate Requirements


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Marketing or related field

  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant experience in marketing at a senior level preferably in FMCG industry.

  • Creative mindset, analytical and perceptive individual

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong team worker with natural flair in coordinating and implementing team ideas
