Our client a Manufacturing entity is seeking to hire a National Sales Manager
Of note is that this role is not based in Nairobi but within the environs .
Responsibilities
- Accomplish sales human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees in assigned districts; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Achieves sales operational objectives by contributing sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
- Meets sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Establish objectives by creating a sales plan and quota for districts in support of national objectives.
- Recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
- Implement trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
- Formulate strategies and action plans to maximize sales of responsible Sales Advisor team
- Plan to ensure achievement of divisional and personal target, aligning with company sales policies and strategies
- Manage, develop, coach, control and motivate the sales force to develop their skill to ensure that a high professional standard is achieve and monthly sales target and KPI target are met
Qualifications:
- Should hold a Bachelor degree in commerce or any Business related degree
- Experience in Sales Management at least 10 years, prior experience in FMCG is a MUST
- Strong analytical skills, negotiation skills, Leadership skill, and developing customer
- Must exhibit strong leadership skills
- Valid driving license and able to work outside Nairobi
