Our client, a global company which offers services ranging from Sports facilities, Tele communications, Real estate development and Industrial projects is seeking to hire an ambitious, and goal driven individual for the role of Civil Supervisor / Foreman.
Reports to: Department Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervising site personnel, sub-contractors and work assignments.
- Ordering materials onsite with approvals from Project Manager and following up on site materials deliveries.
- Tracking of machinery and equipment in, within site and out.
- Ensure the rational use of the resources available and define the extra needs if necessary with site management.
- Act as a link between clients and project manager.
- Ensure respect of the specifications of the contract and ensure the use of approved documents and quality of the work.
- Ensure that projects equipment and all company resources allocated to the project are economically utilized.
- Ensure casuals safety on site.
- Keep proper records of employee’s attendance on daily basis.
- Daily site report.
- Any other duties that may be assigned to you by your superiors.
Qualifications and skills:
- Degree in Building Construction or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
- 5 years’ experience in similar role.
- Knowledge about most of engineering machines and equipment.
- Good team spirit, able to work and collaborate well with colleagues.
- Good problem solving skills.
- Communication and reporting skills.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Effective computer skills.
