Job Description
Our client, a well established company in Construction and Security Solutions is looking to fill the position of a General Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily management and operations.
- Manage workshop activities and production.
- Ensure optimum use of the vehicle fleet.
- Oversee vehicles, their condition and their movements and replacement.
- Manage indirectly all site operations both in and out of the country.
- Manage all financials, budgets forecasts and credit controls.
- Ensuring the company’s control systems are effective at all times.
- Ensuring the Admin & Operations Managers are competent & in control.
- Oversee Human Resource Management indirectly through the Admin Manager.
- Optimum use & development of the Pastel accounting system.
- Coordinate project activities with regulatory bodies.
- Ensure all staff has signed health & safety contracts.
- Conduct training needs assessment and ensure all staff are trained.
Qualifications;
- Must have held senior level management position for more than 10 years.
- Must have a technical degree in civil, mechanical or electrical Engineering.
- Masters degree in business administration is an added advantage.
- Must be a strong leader with people management skills.
- Must be a strategic planner.
Monthly gross salary: Ksh. 350,000 /= (Approx. 3,500 USD)
