Vacancies in a Printing Group (EA) - 2015

One of East Africa’s leading stationery

& printing group based in Uganda is currently looking for dynamic and

result oriented team for following positions:

• Degree / Diploma in Printing / Packaging with
  
  minimum 8 years of working experience in a similar industry and having
  
  worked on narrow web UV Flexo label printing shall be given preference.


• Shall be responsible for the Flexo labels,
  
  packaging and security printing division’s overall production, quality
  
  control, plant maintenance and meeting all production targets with optimum
  
  material planning, machine capacity utilization and manpower performance.

Graphic Designer – Prepress Technician

• A degree or diploma in printing technology or
  
  commercial / applied arts, with minimum 5yrs of experience in offset
  
  and/or flexo prepress; preferably either in the security printing or label
  
  printing industry.


• Should have expert Knowledge of Graphic Arts,
  
  have enough experience in layout and Designing with Advertising-Studio
  
  & Prepress knowledge skill to execute any intricate Design from
  
  concept to meet the client design targets.


• Ability to design all kinds of jobs like
  
  calendars, brochures, books, magazines, label designing from concept to
  
  printing for Flexo printing, able to handle security printing designs like
  
  cheques


• Software skills like Adobe CS (Illustrator,
  
  Photoshop a Indesign), Esko Artpro a other prepress software.

• Should have degree/diploma in Sales and
  
  Marketing with 6-8 years of experience in sales.


• Will be responsible for sales of Computer
  
  stationery, Thermal Roles and security printing products

• Direct sales of the company’s products
  
  Reaching the targets and goals set for the area


• Establishing, maintaining and expanding the
  
  customer base, Servicing the needs of the existing customers, Increasing
  
  business through various sales strategies


• Capable of achieving given target Positive
  
  Attitude and Result oriented


• Candidate should have an excellent command
  
  over English a local language.
