Job Description





Our client is one of the largest suppliers of domestic and commercial electronic appliances.


Established in 1984, their vision has been to promote the lifestyle of all their consumers in the East African region.


Through strong supplier partnerships, they provide customers with quality products featuring the latest technology while offering unparalleled after sales service.


They are currently looking to hire a Showroom Manager to be responsible for management and overall performance of the entire store.
 


Responsibilities


  • Plan, direct and supervise the work and productivity levels of showroom staff; building a motivated sales force at the store.

  • Coordinate the showroom sales and marketing function ensuring projected revenues and margins are achieved.

  • Ensure the distributorship’s standards are met or exceeded i.e. appropriate branding, store displays, merchandizing and replenishment of sales floor.

  • Establish delightful customer service and experience ensuring that customer facing positions understand their roles in interacting with staff to meet and exceed needs of customers.

  • Managing the inventory in terms of availability, product efficiency and accountability.

  • Accountable for the day to day sales and operations of the showroom, including maintaining a neat, orderly, safe and secure showroom.

  • Daily reporting of performance of the retail store

Requirements


  • Business degree in Retail management/ Marketing or any relevant discipline

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with a retail store / or distributorship

  • Strong understanding of retail – related selling or retail operating environment.

  • Exceptional sales and presentation skills

  • Effective customer service experience.

  • Knowledge of financial operations and processes

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
