Job Description
Our client, a leader in the hospitality industry in Kenya is currently looking for Laundry Operators.
Reports To: Laundry Supervisor
Essential Functions
- Organize pressing as per priority, ensures laundry items are properly pressed as per procedure
- Sort out discarded linen and clean up of area after shift.
- Ensure the cleanliness of all the equipment at all times, as well as the general cleanliness and tidiness of the work place
Desired Attributes for the position
- Solid knowledge of commercial laundry operations preferably in dry cleaning
- Have the ability to perform tasks well and work in a high stress environment
- Fast learner with the ability to develop a wide range of skills within a short time
- Good communication skills
- Customer oriented
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience as a laundry operator in the dry cleaning section in a busy commercial laundry
- Diploma in Laundry Operations or equivalent from a recognized institution.
