Graphic Designer
Location: Nairobi
Our client, an IT company is seeking an innovative and self driven individual to join its Creatives and design team.
Job Summary: The Graphic / Creative Designer is responsible for development of new products and generation of artworks for presentation to clients and generation of physical samples.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure timely development of artworks
- Ensure color separations are done as per requirement bearing in mind the client’s deadline.
- Ensure embroidery digitizing is done in a professional manner
- Follow up to ensure timely production of samples
- Make adjustments and/correction on artworks for client’s approval or production
- Make adjustments to branding or provide additional instruction for printing and embroidery.
- Work in conjunction with the product development manager in developing new items and ideas
Abilities, Skills and Qualifications
- Should be computer literate and familiar with design software i.e. Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, In design, Corel Draw and wilcom. Should also have working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must have creative flair
- Should be able to work within a team
- Should have good communication skills and be keen on detail
- Should be able to translate briefs from clients
- Should be flexible in terms of ideas, concepts and working hours
Educational Qualifications
- Diploma in Graphic Design and Communication
- Should have basic drawing skills
Required Experience
- At least one year experience in developing and creating artworks
