Our client specialized in background checks on companies, individuals etc is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager. 




Duties and responsibilities


  • Recruit & service new accounts to ensure our business partners are continuously serviced and are satisfied.

  • Consistently drive and meet sales, revenue and market share targets for the business.

  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans and monthly and annual territory analyses.

  • Forecast sales by studying existing and potential customers.

  • Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery techniques etc. for market intelligence.

  • Recommend improvement in products, service and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments and continuously keeping the management informed about the market trends.

  • Hold quarterly client meetings to resolve customer complaints by understanding their specific needs and responding to then effectively so as to prevent future complaints if any; investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing repots, making recommendation to the management.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publication, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.

  • Represent the organization in the relevant industry trade fairs.

  • Provides historical records by maintaining records on areas and customer sale whilst cleaning and robust data base.

  • Define and execute best-in-sale Go-To-Market initiatives, ensuring coordination and alignment among all stakeholders.

  • Create product and segment marketing materials, web content and webinars.

  • Train and support sales and customer support teams on new tools and products.

  • Support highly effective content marketing effort. Serve as an evangelist for our products through regular thought leadership, blogging and social media.


Skills and qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or any business related degree.

  • Two years minimum experience preferably in sales and marketing.

  • Computer skilled: Microsoft word, Microsoft excel, PowerPoint etc.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with teams and be team builder.

  • Ability to apply innovative and effective techniques.

  • Positive attitude towards work and be open minded.
