Job Description
We are looking to recruit an Accountant (Receivables / Collections) for our client, an Insurance Assessment firm.
Location: Nairobi, Kenya
Position Overview: The role will primarily deal with securing outstanding payments.
Responsibilities
- Historic debt collection
- Account balance reconciliation
- Preparation of monthly statements
- Preparation of various reports e.g. debtors list
- Customer relations management
Requirements
- Minimum of CPA Level 2/ ACCA level 2
- Minimum 3 years Accounting Receivables/Collections experience
- Possess effective communication and problem solving ability
- Proficient in use of Accounting Packages and MS Office applications
- Ability to confidently interact with client representatives at all levels
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimum supervision
Remuneration: The role is a contract job and the salary package is on offer dependent on skills, qualifications and experience.
