Our client in IT industry is recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Manager.

The company specializes in fleet management systems (vehicle tracking) and security systems among other IT systems.

Job Profile:  Oversee an ambitious sales and marketing strategy and manage regional sales offices

The prospective employee will be expected to fulfill the following responsibilities:

• Monitor sales and marketing activities & performance at Nairobi, Mombasa, Eldoret and Kisumu sales offices


• Review and implement a Sales and Marketing strategy


• Spearheading proposals and pitching presentations to potential clients


• Handle key relationships with clients


• Liaising with clients at a senior level on a day-to-day basis


• Promoting the expansion of business with existing clients


• Relationship management at Executive/Board level within existing and new partners


• Work with internal departments on contracts, renewals and upgrades of existing agreements.


• Oversee a team of sales people in regional offices


• Train and develop the sales team


• Provide regular reports on sales and marketing progress as well as advise management on trends and viable business options

Qualifications / Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or related


• At least 5 years of continuous experience in business development and/or client relationship management


• Experience in sales and account management required


• Corporate sales experience required. Experience in fleet management sales an advantage


• Experience in managing a sales team is essential (Sales team leader experience)


• Effective team management capabilities


• Experience in presenting business proposals to senior management essential


• The ability to plan and strategize


• A persuasive and confident approach to sales


• Articulate with excellent written and oral communication skills


• A keen attention to detail


• Excellent analytical skills to enable resolution of complex problems.


• Mature, well groomed and presentable
