facilitate robust markets for livestock and livestock products through
rehabilitation of off–farm infrastructures. The major outcome of this objective
is to have adequately rehabilitated, well equipped, serviced, and operational
and well managed off-farm livestock markets and facilities in the areas of
operation.
We are seeking a highly capable individual with a strong background in Civil Engineering
to support the implementation of this project. This is a fulltime position
reporting to the head of Food and Agriculture, Disaster Risk Reduction
Department.
In this role and as a member of the off – farm Livestock Infrastructure Project
team, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of livestock
markets infrastructure project and has the specific duty of designing and
implementing project strategies to ensure effective delivery of the key project
milestones.
You will have at least a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant
field and at least 3 years of experience in construction works with speciality
in livestock sector infrastructure such as slaughter slabs and sale yards or
relevant field.
Fluency in English and Kiswahili is essential.
