Job Title: Head of Consumer Activations

Our client is a leading mobile and digital services provider operating a payments ecosystem connecting financial sector customers, Mobile Network Operators and businesses to consumers.
They are seeking to hire a proactive and competent individual to fill in the position of Head of Consumer Activations
Role Description: Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, the Head of Consumer activations will lead the activation team coordinating with the relevant stakeholders to ensure activation is well aligned and driven to achieve its strategic purpose within the business
Key Responsibilities
- Drive activities that will increase the number of new mobile banking registrations
- Development of strategic plans that will see increase in number of active consumers
- Coordination of activation activities around the countries where the company is present to maximize revenues
- Management of activation budget and provide monthly feedback on current and future spends vs the actual
- Ensure smooth running of team to meet and surpass set customer and business targets
- Ensure cross selling and upselling of services
- Regular review of revenue generation status, identifying deviations from forecast and implementing measures to rectify/adjust relative to forecast, sales and marketing strategies of the company’s partners
- Formulate plan and advise the business on availability of new revenue generation through innovative concepts
- Consistent development and improvement of actionable and targeted marketing and business plans that contribute to building transactions ad identification of untapped business opportunities
- Improve users experience
Qualifications
- A Bachelors Degree in Business Management / Business Administration
- 3 -5 years experience in a retail service, FMCG, telecommunication, customer service or marketing
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Excellent Negotiation and presentation skills
- Customer oriented
- Strong familiarity with business management
- Innovative and creative
- High personal standards
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Confident, self assured, personable and presentable
