Sales Coordinator

Monthly Gross Salary: Kshs.60,000 – 65,000 plus commission
Reporting to the Brand Manager.
Job Description: This position is critical in ensuring the creation of demand and increase in market share for company products.
The Sales Coordinator will be responsible to the Brand Manager for executing sales strategies in the area of operation.
Specific duties and responsibilities will entail
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing plans and strategies to optimise the brand’s market share in the target region.
- Oversight role over the Assistant sales Representatives within the target region.
- Monitoring, supervising and managing the performance of field staff individually and as a team.
- Participating in setting the regional sales budgets and sales targets for individual and for the team.
- Liaising with finance department and coordinating debt collection within the region.
- Ensuring that promotional materials are distributed to target clients and that they are well displayed and utilized
- Identifying and advising on the new distribution outlets.
- Organizing and conducting seminars for teachers, education officers and other stakeholders and use the forums to market and promote Longhorn products.
- Carrying out any other duty as may be assigned from time to time
Job Specifications
For appointment to this position, one must have:
- Bachelors degree in Education or a business related field from a recognized institution.
- A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience.
- Certificate in Sales and Marketing from a recognized institution.
- Clean driving License.
- Excellent Communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Ms Office Suite.
