Position: Letting Agent - Readvertised
Our client in real estate is urgently recruiting for the above mentioned position.
The ideal candidate must have been in real estate industry for more than 3 years.
Qualifications & Experience required:
- University graduate.
- Preference will be given to applicants with shopping mall experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Facilitating sales of the assigned leasing spaces in specific retail areas.
- Organizing site visits with prospective tenants.
- Identifying target tenants, contacting/visiting/calling them appropriately.
- Appraisal of application forms and liaising with applicants on the same to ensure that all requirements are met.
- Preparation of heads of terms for successful applicants and liaising with them in order to achieve a timely execution.
- Liaising with Landlord’s Lawyers on preparation of lease document and ensure that tenant executes correctly.
- Prepare weekly progress reports; site visit reports.
- Coordinate with tenant and managing agent with regard to tenant’s fit-out works.
- Maintain positive relationships and coordinate with team, company’s clients, tenants, and prospect tenants, and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
- Handling random space enquiries.
- Updating of schedules – lease tracking.
- Working on cash flows, rental analysis and discussing same with supervisor.
- Provision of administrative support including scheduling meetings.
Duty station: Nairobi.
Anticipated start date: Immediately.
