Job Description
The Global Peace Foundation Kenya is seeking recruit a full time Leap Hubs Coordinator reporting to the Director, Education Initiative for an initial one year period.
A Leap Hub is a dedicated space within a school where students can nurture and incubate their business and social enterprise ideas.
This space may be in the form of a renovated classroom or any other unused space within the school.
The coordinator will oversee and help direct Leap Hubs across secondary schools in Nairobi and other counties.
The ideal candidate should:
- Have a degree / diploma in a business / entrepreneurship development field.
- A degree in social sciences with additional training experience in business development.
- Project Management experience (working with youth will be an added advantage).
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve.
- A demonstrated team player.
- Able to work well in deadline driven environment.
- Articulate and have excellent command of Kiswahili and English language.
- Have experience in event organization and facilitation.
- Innovative and tech savvy.
- Be able to work around flexible time schedule as opposed to 8-5 schedule.
