The role will essentially:
- Formulate and execute Compensation & Benefits Management Strategy for Airtel Group. Formulate and execute Total Reward philosophy and regulations to ensure internal parity, competitive advantage and alignment with global recommendations resulting in improved performance, employee satisfaction and retention.
Develop, implement & manage performance, reward and recognition framework and processes that are aligned with business strategy & values
- Develop a reward strategy and comprehensive remuneration solutions which reward high performers, ensure their retention and are fair, equitable and competitive.
- Design the annual performance bonus scheme by preparing the business case and metrics for Leadership consideration, liaising with all relevant internal/external stakeholders
- Proactively collaborate with the Chief Human Resources Officer, CEO and REMCO committee during the annual salary review cycle in determining appropriate and competitive salaries in line with market conditions and budget guidelines.
- Design Benefits programs in line with market benchmarks and company objectives
- Manage the pension in collaboration with Pension scheme partners and communicate pension performance to the business.
- Develop reward, recognition and benefits policies, procedures and guidelines
- Build, transfer and communicate total reward capability across the Company.
- Develop an organization wide recognition program and support HR Business partners to develop effective reward programs for their respective business units
- Determine the competitive position of the company’s reward & benefits structure by participating in credible remuneration/salary survey clubs to foster the employer of choice proposition
- Develop programs, polices, and procedures that effectively balance market competitiveness and internal equity, and support cost-effectiveness of reward expenditures.
- Carry out budgetary and forecasting exercises relating to people cost. (DB and 5+7 cycles)
- Determine use of and relationship with external suppliers to deliver reward & recognition initiatives
- Develop international mobility policies and guidelines that support employees on secondment in conjunction with Global International Mobility team
- Lead & co-ordinate the design & review of all HR Total Rewards policies & procedures
Lead and manage the Reward & Policy team members through development of objectives and targets for performance and career development
