Position: Technical Supervisor

Since its inception about two decades ago, our organisation has been promoting safety against fire in all walks of life.
We currently have openings for a Technical Supervisor for our Nairobi and Mombasa branch. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a technical supervisor in a super busy environment:
Technical Supervisors lead teams of skilled technicians and make sure procedures are followed effectively and under properly controlled conditions.
Job Roles
- Coordinate department activities to ensure quality and meet timetables.
- Evaluate department processes. Recommend and coordinate needed changes based on process analysis.
- Direct staff in the development, analysis, and preparation of reports
- Supervise staff in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees, and shift rotations.
- Responsible to meet department productivity and quality goals
- Communicate with other Supervisors and Managers.
- Serve on committees and teams as department representative.
- Handling client enquiries and complaints
- Coordinating sales enquiries, orders and deliveries
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications;
- BSc in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or any related field
- Computer Packages
- Administrative, Leadership and sales skills
- Analytical, good communication skills, quick learner and thinker, can work under pressure and prioritize
- Valid Driving License is Mandatory
